M&M Group delivered the technology and activation scope for DIEZ at GITEX AI, held at Expo City Dubai on 5–6 February 2025. The production covered the full exhibition stand technology and visitor activation scope for a two-day event — structured around LED screen integration, sensor-driven interactive installations, motion-based LED displays, robotic video capture, gamified digital engagement, and an AI-powered robotic café service operating across the stand environment.

Exhibition Stand Technology Scope

The DIEZ stand at GITEX AI was built as a technology-forward exhibition presence — a multi-zone environment designed to communicate DIEZ’s identity through direct visitor interaction rather than passive display. The scope covered the complete technology and activation delivery: AV infrastructure, LED screen layout, software and sensor integration, visitor activation systems, and technical support across the full two-day event period.

Each activation zone was structured to deliver a distinct type of visitor engagement — from information-driven touchpoints to entertainment activations and experiential service — creating a layered stand experience that rewarded extended visitor dwell time at Expo City Dubai.

Exhibition and trade show solutions provided the overall framework for stand technology planning, activation zoning, and the integration of independent systems into a unified visitor journey.

AV and LED Screen Configuration

The stand AV configuration was built around multiple LED screen formats positioned across the stand environment. The scope included an interactive 65-inch screen as a primary visitor interaction point, dedicated light box installations, and supplementary LED screens across specific stand zones — each sized and positioned to serve distinct display and interaction functions.

Technical production and venue engineering covered AV configuration, screen positioning, LED processor requirements, and the technical integration layer connecting the display systems to the interactive activation elements across the stand.

Interactive Info Wall

The Interactive Info Wall was installed as a four-panel video wall — four 55-inch screens arranged as a single integrated display surface — with embedded software and sensor technology detecting four object triggers. Visitors explored high-tech topic panels by placing specific items in sensor detection zones, converting the wall from a passive display into an object-triggered information interface.

The installation scope included hardware and accessories, structural boarding, and the software integration required to deliver the sensor-triggered information experience. The info wall served as the primary educational activation within the DIEZ stand — enabling direct, physical visitor interaction with DIEZ’s technology narrative at GITEX AI.

Kinetic Canvas / LED Installation

The Kinetic Canvas introduced a motion-based LED display element to the stand — five individual LED screen panels, each 50 cm wide and 2 m high, mounted on a rotating mechanism. The installation used an LED processor and supporting hardware to deliver dynamic, motion-driven visual content as visitors moved through the stand space.

The rotating multi-panel structure created a visually distinctive stand centerpiece — a moving LED installation designed to attract visitor attention across the Expo City exhibition floor and reinforce DIEZ’s positioning as a technology-forward brand within the GITEX AI environment.

Creative design shaped the visual content and motion sequencing for the Kinetic Canvas, aligning the display output with the DIEZ brand identity and the GITEX AI event context.

Glambot Video Booth

The Glambot activation introduced a robotic camera arm experience to the stand — a cinematic slow-motion video capture system operating with branded arm and base sticker branding for DIEZ. The unit operated for up to eight hours daily, supported by a full-time attendant managing the guest experience and capture flow.

The activation offered unlimited slow-motion video capture for stand visitors, with instant sharing via QR code or email — requiring on-site Wi-Fi connectivity. Each video output carried DIEZ event branding, creating branded digital content that visitors shared directly from within the stand at GITEX AI.

Brand activation coordinated the Glambot as the stand’s primary social content activation — converting stand visitors into active content participants and extending DIEZ’s GITEX AI presence across visitor digital channels beyond the physical event.

Memory Game

The Memory Game provided a touch-screen-based gamified experience for stand visitors. The guest flow began with a name and email registration, followed by an image-matching challenge within a defined time limit. Images were customized to reflect DIEZ and GITEX AI themes — making the game both a visitor engagement mechanism and a structured lead capture tool across the exhibition period.

The activation ran from a dedicated interactive touch screen within the stand footprint, complementing the other activation zones without requiring floor space beyond the screen and its immediate visitor area.

XBot Café

The XBot Café introduced a robotic and AI café experience as a fully operational service activation within the stand. The system operated with one dedicated service staff member on site alongside technical support staff, covering the full two-day event period at Expo City Dubai.

Daily operational capacity covered 200 cups of coffee and 200 portions of ice cream, with consumable refills included within the scope. The XBot installation required a dedicated floor footprint of 220 × 170 cm and a three-phase electrical supply providing 9 kW of power. The unit’s operational weight of 900 kg required floor loading verification against Expo City Dubai venue specifications for GITEX AI 2025.

Full delivery, pick-up, assembly, and dismantlement logistics were included within the XBot scope, along with a food-safe permit for the installation and operation of the robotic café service within the exhibition environment. The XBot Café served as a functional draw within the DIEZ stand — attracting visitors through a novel robotic service experience and extending dwell time across the two-day exhibition period.

Technical and Operational Considerations

The full activation scope for GITEX AI required coordinated technical planning across multiple independent systems operating in parallel: AV infrastructure, sensor-integrated interactive panels, motion-driven LED installations, robotic camera hardware, touch-screen gaming units, and a three-phase powered robotic café installation.

Power, network, and structural requirements were coordinated against Expo City Dubai venue specifications for GITEX AI 2025. The XBot Café’s three-phase 9 kW power requirement and 900 kg installation weight represented the primary technical constraints governing stand floor layout and power infrastructure planning. Wi-Fi connectivity was a shared dependency across the Glambot sharing system and the Memory Game registration flow, requiring coordinated network planning within the stand build.

Event production oversaw the operational integration of all activation systems — coordinating staffing, technical support, and event-day operations across the complete stand activation scope for both days at Expo City Dubai.
