M&M Group produced the UAE National Day event and activation scope for Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZ) at the DAFZ Walkway – Left Side, delivering for 1,000 guests on November 27, 2025. The scope covered a layered program of branding, cultural installations, games, live craft stations, traditional hospitality, and food activations — structured to deliver a cohesive UAE National Day experience within the freezone environment.

Event Overview

The 54th UAE National Day celebration for DAFZ was a morning event running from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the DAFZ Walkway – Left Side. The program drew from UAE heritage traditions, creating a comfortable and active environment for DAFZ guests across multiple engagement zones.

UAE National Day event production for corporate environments requires structuring a program that works simultaneously across different engagement styles — visitors arriving through a branded entry sequence, moving through cultural activity areas, engaging with interactive games, settling into hospitality zones, and experiencing live entertainment. The DAFZ 2025 event delivered all of these elements within a single walkway environment.

Branded Arrival and Event Environment

The guest arrival experience was anchored by a walk-in tunnel entrance — a principal entry element applied with high-resolution printed graphics and constructed to establish the UAE National Day tone from the first moment of arrival. A red carpet treatment extended from the tunnel entrance, reinforcing the arrival sequence into the event environment.

Branded pillars framed the walkway space, with an acrylic display providing a focal branding installation within the event setting. The combination of the tunnel entrance, pillar branding, and acrylic display created a consistent visual identity throughout the DAFZ Walkway – Left Side, setting the context for the full guest program.

Creative design shaped the visual approach across the branding elements — from the high-resolution printed graphics applied to structural surfaces to the acrylic display and pillar treatments throughout the walkway.

Cultural Installations and Heritage Details

A modern square selfie setup served as a dedicated photo experience — constructed from logs and wooden panels with frame support, incorporating customized display elements. The selfie backdrop provided a social engagement point within the event environment, designed around the UAE National Day aesthetic and intended to give guests a meaningful take-home from the celebration.

A traditional falcon display was included as a key cultural element within the guest program, with an attendant present throughout the event. Guests had the opportunity to hold the falcon and take photographs — a traditional UAE heritage experience within the corporate freezone setting.

A seating area provided a comfortable, open-style environment within the henna station zone, supporting longer-dwell engagement across the cultural activity areas of the walkway.

Interactive Games and Guest Engagement

A traditional-themed activity and game kiosk provided the primary interactive entertainment zone within the DAFZ Walkway — constructed from natural materials including MDF, wood, dried palm leaves, and net, consistent with the UAE heritage aesthetic across the event environment.

The games program included Ring Toss – Falcon Edition, Pearl Harvest, Pot Short, Memory Game, and Date Smash Game — a range of traditional-inspired interactive activations catering to guests of varied engagement styles across the event duration.

Brand activation agency in Dubai structured the guest engagement logic across the interactive game and activity zones, ensuring each activation served as a natural waypoint within the overall event flow rather than a standalone element.

Live Arts and Cultural Workshops

A live Arabic calligraphy station was set up for the event, with a calligrapher writing guest names on keepsakes throughout — a personalized cultural take-home integrated into the guest experience program.

A professional live sketch artist operated alongside the calligraphy station, capturing guests’ portraits in real time across the event duration — a contemporary craft element complementing the heritage character of the broader program.

A henna artist was available for guests throughout the event, providing traditional henna application within the cultural seating area.

UAE-themed instructor-led workshops were delivered at the event: clay medkhan making, bukhoor making, and a charm bracelet station — three hands-on craft activations giving guests engagement with traditional Emirati materials and techniques in a structured workshop format.

Traditional Hospitality and Food Activations

A traditional dukkan setup served as a heritage hospitality installation within the event environment, with attendants present and stocked with snack and drink items — a recognisable piece of UAE commercial heritage culture within the DAFZ Walkway event.

A large traditional live cooking area was set up as an areesh tent environment with a cooking table encompassing four cooking sections and tea and coffee service — providing a central hospitality focal point and a natural zone for guest dwell time throughout the event.

Live halwa cooking was delivered as a standalone food activation, with halwa prepared and cooked on-site. Halwa preparation requires two to three hours before serving; the activation was managed with the necessary lead time, with an areesh tent, raw materials, and biodegradable serving materials included in the scope.

Themed cupcakes and donut kits completed the food program alongside the live cooking areas — a light themed F&B treatment consistent with the UAE National Day celebration character of the event.

Entertainment and Technical Support

Traditional entertainment anchored the live performance program for the DAFZ Walkway celebration. Ayallah and Harbiya traditional entertainment were included in the program.

A sound system supported the full event environment across the DAFZ Walkway, providing ambient audio management throughout the event duration for both the entertainment and general guest program.

Technical production and venue engineering covered the structural, audio, and operational infrastructure across the event program — including the tunnel entrance, kiosk build, cooking area setup, sound system integration, and technical coordination across the full walkway footprint.
